Activity Booking instructions for Gemlife Pacific Paradise on the Sunshine Coast. Step by step guide to using the Booking System On the booking site opening screen (below), locate the "Book Now " button in the centre of the top banner image. STEP ONE After clicking "Book Now", all 4 category groups available for booking will appear as below. Activities (BBQ's, Crafts etc) - Rooms - Venues - Sporting Activities STEP TWO Select your "Booking Group" category and click "Select" to show all items in that group. The example shown below is "Sports". (Activities, Rooms & Venues) show on their respective pages when clicked. STEP THREE Select your booking item and click "Select." (Example shown is "Pickleball") "Extra Time" will then appear for your selection if required. Pick your time slot. (If a particular timeslot is not available, it means it has been booked by another party) This will take you to the sign-in form. Existing Clients sign in with your credentials. STEP FOUR After signing in on the "Existing Clients" form, you will then be taken to the "Confirm Booking" button. When a booking is done, you will be able to see your booking details and status "Confirmed". Here you can also click on "Book More" or "Show all Bookings" (if you have made more than one). An email will then be sent to you with all the relevant details concerning what you have just booked. You will also receive reminder emails from the system nearer your booking time. Please note: It can take a short time to load the booking system. Registered users. Log in using your previously registered email and password as normal. Just log out when you finish your booking. NOTE: If it is your first time, you will need to register by sending your details, Name, Villa number, Phone number, and Email address to the HOC, requesting access. A Little about our Resort Living in an over-50s lifestyle resort is distinct from living out in a residential suburb. Our Resort consists of 211 homes and potentially 400-plus residents. This situation represents a new dynamic and experience for many residents and may require some adjustments to be made. The majority of folks living in a community such as ours are either retired or semi-retired and want to enjoy their life with those around them who have a similar lifestyle philosophy. Nestled in a serene and picturesque setting, these individual villas boast spacious and open-plan living areas that seamlessly connect the indoor and outdoor spaces, creating the perfect ambiance for relaxation and entertainment. GemLife makes it easy for you to live the active, vibrant life you deserve in your 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond. Our Difference Despite the various ownership structures and names used, the key difference between over 50's communities and retirement villages is the loan, licence, or lease arrangement. For over 50's communities, the agreement is over the land. In retirement villages, the agreement is over the building. A secondary, but no less important role, is to facilitate the formation and oversight of Interest/Activity Groups & to cater for social functions, events, and activities. How to use the monthly Calendar of regular activities around Gemlife Pacific Paradise. Changing Views Changing Days Using calendar search Setting Forward Dates Colour codes defined Searching Individual Items Calendar Help Changing to day view or list view If the phone opens in "Week View", to change to day view, click the down arrow at the end of the 1st RED line. The dropdown shown will appear. To change to another view, eg Day view then click "Day" as shown on the end of the 2nd RED line. (Day or list view is usually best on a phone ) Changing current month or date To change months & any forward date, follow the RED line and click on the down arrow. This will open up a forward calendar showing months and days. The example shows the day as February 3rd, but the March Calendar shows all days. Just click on the day you want, and the Calendar will jump forward to that date. Changing months and dates This screenshot shows two RED arrows going to forward or backward arrows on the screen. These can be used for going back or forward as many days as you require. To just change a few days forward or back, it is simpler to swipe left or right on the screen. Searching the calendar This enables you to quickly find an event e.g., "Mahjong " - only need to enter "mahj " as shown. Locate the search button in the top right-hand corner of the calendar (see RED arrow), NOT the site search button in the menu section. Enter your search term eg "Mahj" (You do not need the whole word) Set the start date & end date as required Select Search Searching Individual Items Searching Individual Item Details To set the start search date, follow the long RED arrow and click - today's date will show instead of the middle of last year. To see more details, click the item on the Calendar line, and all details regarding where and when appear, as per example.
